About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Star Employment. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Accounting Tasks: Prepare and process financial transactions, including cheques, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Software: Maintain and update accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients regarding financial matters, including invoicing and payment arrangements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel, and Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced office environment with a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and organizational skills.
