We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Health Economist / Principal Modeler to lead our projects in health economics and modeling.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of new work by leading proposals for new or existing partners, or applications to research funding bodies.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret data and model results for presentation to stakeholders
- Manage projects, timelines, budgets, and project teams
- Potential to mentor and coach junior staff
- Contribute to business development through writing proposals for existing and new project sponsors and grant opportunities
- Contribute to the work within the health economics team to advance the team's work
We are looking for a candidate with a graduate degree in health economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and more than 3 years of experience working in an analytical role in health economics, statistics, health systems research and modeling, decision-analytic modeling, simulation, or optimization.
Experience with health technology assessment, data science, or economic evaluations alongside clinical trials is an asset, as is knowledge of Canadian health care systems and data.
