Your Role:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join us as an Optical Associate. In this pivotal role, you will deliver exceptional service to our patients, often being their first point of contact. Your passion for people and commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences will be essential in positively impacting our patients' health and well-being.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 30 or more hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educating clients on optimal eyewear choices tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best value and quality
  • Informing patients about advancements in corrective eyewear solutions and assisting in frame selection that meets their aesthetic and performance needs
  • Interpreting optical prescriptions provided by optometrists
  • Performing measurements to ensure proper fit and positioning of eyewear
  • Submitting eyewear requisitions to the manufacturing lab
  • Conducting repairs and adjustments on patients' eyewear
  • Organizing and maintaining the retail display area
  • Contributing to the achievement of store sales goals
  • Upholding high standards of customer service through your charisma and problem-solving abilities

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail setting
  • Knowledge of the optical field or routine eye care is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Professional demeanor and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with people
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using technology and proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Committed to being a valuable member of a high-performing team
