Job Summary:

The Strategic Fundraising Leader will be responsible for leading multiple staff teams and building strong relationships with constituents to implement innovative peer-to-peer fundraising products and exceed revenue goals for the ROME GROUP's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with cross-functional teams to effectively communicate the ROME GROUP's overall mission, programs, and priorities.
  2. Organize mission-centered, local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors for national stewardship activities.
  3. Create and implement an innovative strategic plan annually to ensure the team exceeds all revenue goals.
  4. Teach, train, and consult fundraising staff in designated market areas.
  5. Responsible for the hiring, management, development, and training of the peer-to-peer fundraising teams.
  6. Collaborate to grow volunteer and corporate relationships across the market and throughout the ROME GROUP.
  7. Responsible for the recruitment and cultivation of high-level volunteer committees.
  8. Teach, train, and consult volunteer leaders in designated market areas.
  9. Responsible for the recruitment and cultivation of high-level volunteer leadership.
  10. Provide comprehensive volunteer support to ensure positive volunteer interaction.
  11. Accountable for achieving high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising revenue goals.
  12. Responsible for retaining and upgrading sponsorship for all products.
  13. Maintain a working knowledge of the ROME GROUP's mission and programs to promote organizational initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-8 years of relatable experience

  • Comfort with getting into the details as necessary

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.

  • Local Travel up to 30%.
  • Required to work some evenings or weekends.
