Job Title: Pharmacy Helper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Helper to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Helper will be responsible for providing administrative support to our pharmacy team, including maintaining inventories, entering client information, and assisting pharmacists with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Enter client information into databases and ensure data integrity
  • Assist pharmacists with tasks such as preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies, and cleaning and maintaining equipment
  • Perform routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of collection areas

Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a physically demanding environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Flexibility and reliability
Work Environment:

The Pharmacy Helper will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The Pharmacy Helper will work 35 hours per week.
