Qualifications

Work Environment

This role is set within a hotel, motel, or resort environment, where attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors and hallways.
  • Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to effectively remove debris and maintain cleanliness.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash cans and waste containers.
  • Conduct cleaning of windows, interior walls, and ceilings to uphold aesthetic standards.
  • Make minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Engage with contractors for maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
  • Execute minor appliance repairs and conduct safety and security inspections.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture and equipment as required.
  • Carry out additional maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repairs.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to maintain safety.
  • Oversee and assign work to other maintenance staff, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Outlook is required for communication and scheduling purposes.
