PTW Video Game Quality Assurance Specialist - Remote
Are you an enthusiastic gamer eager to leverage your linguistic expertise? PTW is on the lookout for English Language Quality Assurance Game Testers to be among the first to engage with unreleased games in their adapted versions.
Note: This role is designed for flexible contracts with full-time availability expected during weekdays.
Position Overview
This is an in-office opportunity located in a vibrant city. Please be aware that this is a talent pool position. PTW is not currently in the active recruitment phase for this role, but we encourage applications from interested individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and correct North American English language inaccuracies
- Ensure compliance with console manufacturers' standards
- Document identified issues/bugs to improve game quality
- Offer constructive feedback for game enhancements
- Facilitate seamless gameplay by pinpointing missing or incorrect content
- Occasionally perform translations as needed
Qualifications
- Fluency in English at a native level
- In-depth understanding of North American culture
- Basic French proficiency for effective communication
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail
