About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Kelly O'Bryans Neighbourhood Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and implement procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance on kitchen operations and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets, and manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth execution of events.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
