About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our team at Rock Central LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy and ensuring the effective management of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Data Architecture Design: Design and maintain data architectures that support business needs, ensuring data quality, security, and scalability.
  • Technology Roadmap: Create and evolve technology roadmaps that define our data architectures and enable a solid data strategy.
  • Best Practices: Develop and share best practices for knowledge and data discovery to deliver impactful data-driven decision support systems.
  • Change Management: Form and define best practices for change management, source control, and deployment methodologies for big data solutions.
  • Data Capabilities: Identify and enable data capabilities across the company.
  • Integration Design: Design integrations with other data sources.
  • Data Standards: Research, analyze, and promote data standards to be used across the company.
  • Standards Leadership: Set and lead standards discussions among big data engineers, data scientists, and other team members across the business.
  • Data Solution Architecture: Architect data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Build vs. Buy: Identify and implement build vs. buy strategies regarding technology.
  • Process Improvement: Identify performance trends and work with teams to improve processes and procedures.
  • Partnerships: Partner with the business and appropriate teams to deliver road maps.
  • Holistic View: Work with the team to build a holistic view of the company's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets.
  • Best Practices and Guidelines: Define best practices and internal guidelines.
  • Research and Development: Research new technologies.
  • Mentorship: Mentor team members and share best practices.
  • Program Metrics: Capture program metrics.
