Job Title: Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our Operations team at Westlake. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and operational performance of our production crew.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all safety rules and legislation are being practiced.
  • Build relationships and teamwork with production crew members.
  • Directs hourly personnel and manufacturing operations.
  • Provide technical leadership to shift personnel, to include: line setup/operation, metrics definition/reporting, testing, troubleshooting, and training facilitation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, specifically overseeing the safety within the production area.
  • Delegate responsibility and recognize, develop, train, and utilize talents and capabilities of all shift personnel.
  • Facilitate safety training and complete all incident investigations and reporting.
  • Production Reporting.
  • Represents production in company meetings.
Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of PVC extrusion manufacturing experience.
  • Must have a positive work history with regards to attendance, safety, and job performance.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, administrative, and leadership skills are required.
  • Willing to train the right person.
  • Dynamic individual.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office products such as Word & Excel.
