Production Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our Service team at Fraserway RV. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising Service Technicians to ensure quality standards and productivity requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train Service Technicians in service methods, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Ensure quality of workmanship through verification of services and maintenance of shop standards.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to meet work schedules and delivery objectives.
  • Identify, investigate, correct, and document potential environmental and safety problems.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Service Technicians to improve productivity and repair quality.
  • Requisition shop supplies and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product and repair techniques.
  • Act as a Service Technician as necessary and cover shifts for the Fixed Operations Manager while away.

Requirements:

  • Red Seal certification or equivalent experience required.
  • Five years RV Technician or automotive knowledge and experience.
  • Leadership ability and team building skills to effectively supervise and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Strong negotiation and prioritization skills.
  • Exhibits strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates awareness of health and safety protocols.
