Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair engine, fuel, electrical, driveline, and hydraulic systems on all makes and models of tractor-trailers and heavy equipment.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Complete accurate and detailed paperwork and reports.
  • Perform CVIP inspections and list repairs and parts required.
  • Conduct non-related CVIP repairs and take ownership of your work.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty On-Road/Off-Road/Oilfield Mechanic.
  • Dealership experience is an asset, with knowledge of Cummins, CAT, Detroit, Paccar, IHC, and Mercedes.
  • A Class 1 driver's license is considered an asset but not required.
  • CVIP certification is mandatory.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy in all work orders and reports.
  • Positive attitude, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering quality performance every day.
  • Reliable and willing to work overtime when required.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional weekends as needed.

Licence/Certification:

  • Journeyman HD Mechanic or Apprenticeship Trade Licence is required.
