About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Analyst to support the IT department at Aviva Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring business, technology, and operational readiness for key projects across Aviva Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the change assurance and business readiness manager with input and expertise to support technical delivery programs and projects.
  • Develop and implement technology change management plans, robust communications strategies, and learning and development strategies.
  • Identify and update processes and procedures to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide support to establish and monitor key performance indicators and ensure these underpin critical decision-making.
  • Proactively manage issues around people, process, and technology impacts of IT change across the IT department and where applicable, the business.
  • Deliver integrated plans to support safe delivery of change, including coordination activities as required, working alongside project team members.
  • Act as an Aviva Change Framework champion and provide assurance over the IT change portfolio that the framework is being adhered to.
  • Report and call out the status of relevant risks, controls, and standards as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Experience of large-scale organizational change, considering customer, market, and internal factors.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and excellent written and presentation communication skills.
  • Good awareness of risk, control, and governance requirements and ideally have worked in a highly regulated environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers and manage both complexity and volume of demand.
  • Understanding of the Canada business areas and marketplace, as well as the risks faced by technology.
