About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Lil' Gems Creche Inc. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare center and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support the daily care and supervision of children, including bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Assist with household duties, such as cleaning and meal preparation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including adhering to licensing regulations and ensuring the proper use of equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move children and equipment as needed.
