Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Connecting Dots - Dave Barr. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs.
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various media, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1), child development supervisor (ECE level 3), or child development worker (ECE level 2) certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Reliability and team player skills.
