About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Home Improvement Contractor to join our team at Handyman Connection of Ottawa, ON. As a contractor, you'll have the freedom to work on a variety of projects, from kitchen and bathroom remodels to basement renovations and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs, installations, and general construction work on residential projects
  • Generate quotes and deliver high-quality work to clients
  • Remain in constant contact with clients, the office, and fellow contractors
  • Work on light-commercial projects and have the potential to expand your services
Requirements
  • General competence in at least three (3) of the following areas: remodels, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, tiling, residential maintenance, and commercial maintenance
  • Knowledge of building codes and materials management
  • Possession of a driver's license and insurance
  • Possession of tools and a vehicle
  • Ability to undergo a personal screening and background check
  • Smart phone and Internet access
  • Customer service attitude
