About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Educator to join our team at Grace New Covenant Pentecostal Church. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young students and helping them grow into confident and capable individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to the diverse needs of our students
    • Utilize a range of teaching methods, including discussions, audio-visual presentations, and field trips, to promote student learning and engagement
  • Student Support and Guidance
    • Provide individualized support and guidance to students who require extra help
    • Identify and address any learning gaps or challenges that students may be facing
  • Classroom Management and Organization
    • Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment
    • Manage classroom resources and materials effectively
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
    • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Experience and Skills
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of teaching experience
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

This is a temporary position, working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check.
