About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at SE Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a supportive living environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in care conferences and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, ensuring timely interventions and referrals as needed.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Current RN Certificate registered with the CARNA in good standing.
  • Valid CPR certificate (Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider – Level C) Standard First Aid.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Check issued in the past 90 days.
  • Updated Immunization record.
  • Recent experience working with the elderly or disabled persons, preferably in a supportive living environment.
  • Case management and palliative care experience is an asset.
  • Experience leading others with strong collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrate a compassionate, respectful, and sincere manner, with the ability to deal with conflict in a diplomatic and professional manner (strong conflict management skills).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (other language skills an asset).
  • Flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment.
  • Good computer skills.
