Job Title: Information Systems Business Analyst - Accessibility Consultant
Job Summary:
Macropus Global is seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Business Analyst - Accessibility Consultant to join our team. As an Accessibility Consultant, you will work with clients to test and validate user interfaces against accessibility requirements and consult on the effective technical implementation of digital accessibility requirements in client systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Set Definition: Work with clients to determine the boundaries of the testing environment and identify a representative test set of user interface components found in the client's system.
- Testing: Test client systems against specific manual tests and assistive technology tools, and enter test results into AMP (Accessibility Management Platform).
- Reporting: Deliver testing results to clients and participate in conference calls and follow-up discussions to create a roadmap to improve the accessibility and usability of client IT systems.
- Technical Consultation: Consult with clients on the proper methods for implementing digital accessibility in systems, spanning web, mobile, hardware, and document systems.
- Business Process Consultation: Work with clients to consult on the process implementation approach for accessibility in the client's environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, integrate, and implement information systems business solutions.
- Conduct business and technical studies, whenever possible.
- Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, and management, security, and service delivery.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Accessibility knowledge is a huge plus.
Certification/Credentials a PLUS:
- IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC).
- Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Certification.
