About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Aide to join our team at Community Living Port Colborne-Wainfleet. As a Personal Support Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and comfort to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompaniment and Transportation: Safely transport patients between care facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain patients' rooms, making beds, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Communication and Reporting: Deliver messages, reports, and requisitions between departments, and report accidents or emergencies promptly.
  • Training and Development: Attend scheduled practice and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a valid First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Transportation: Possess a valid driver's licence.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work 30 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
