Job Title: Caregiver - Special Care Facility

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Oakville Children's Homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing staff.
  • Participate in recreational activities and outings with residents, promoting socialization and engagement.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or social services setting an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
