CONNORS TRANSFER LIMITED is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety standards.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Repetitive tasks and sitting for extended periods
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight handling
