BFP Engineering Solutions Incorporated is seeking a skilled and motivated CAD Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the design and development of engineering projects.

As a CAD Technician, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Design & Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software. Accurately interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure precise execution of design requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Supervise and mentor other drafting personnel, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and productivity. Train new team members on CAD software and best practices.
  • Project Development: Develop initial design sketches and concepts, collaborating with engineers to refine designs and ensure they meet project objectives. Prepare comprehensive construction specifications, cost estimates, and material lists.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation packages and drawing sets for projects. Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies. Write clear and concise technical reports and specifications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CAD software, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
