Manager, Athlete Services and Engagement

The Canadian Paralympic Committee is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Manager, Athlete Services and Engagement. This role will play a critical part in supporting the Paralympic System and Services Division, working closely with athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional services and experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programming that aligns with the CPC's strategic priorities, focusing on athlete engagement, leadership, and wellness.
- Manage the Athlete Services and Engagement staff, as well as budgets, to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Support the annual planning process and lead the prioritization of work, ensuring alignment with the CPC's vision and mission.
- Build and maintain relationships with sport partners, athletes, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and mutual understanding.
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively engage with the athlete community, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as kinesiology, sports management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in a leadership capacity in sport, preferably in a National Sport Organization or as a Para athlete or Paralympian.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian Sport system, International Olympic and Paralympic Sport System, and the roles, responsibilities, and pressures of athletes, coaches, and NSOs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
