Manager, Athlete Services and Engagement

The Canadian Paralympic Committee is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Manager, Athlete Services and Engagement. This role will play a critical part in supporting the development and success of Canadian Paralympic athletes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programming that aligns with the CPC's strategic priorities, focusing on athlete engagement, leadership, and wellness.
- Manage the Athlete Services and Engagement staff, as well as budgets, to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Support the annual planning process and lead the prioritization of work, ensuring alignment with the CPC's vision and mission.
- Build and maintain relationships with sport partners, athletes, and other stakeholders to promote the CPC's mission and values.
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively engage with the athlete community, including alumni programming and events.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as kinesiology, sports management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in a leadership capacity in sport in Canada, with a focus on athlete development and engagement.
- Experience working in a National Sport Organization and in multi-sport games environments.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian Sport system, International Olympic and Paralympic Sport System, and the roles and responsibilities of athletes, coaches, and NSOs.
- Ability to communicate in Canada's two official languages is considered a strong asset.
The CPC offers a competitive salary range of $70,000-$76,000 annually, plus benefits. This is a full-time position, with the possibility of remote work. The successful candidate will be required to travel to Ottawa and other locations, as well as work evenings and weekends during busy periods.
