As a Residential Cleaning Specialist at THURAM HEALTHCARE SERVICES INC, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various residential settings. This is a permanent position with flexible hours ranging from 35 to 60 hours per week.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
- Non-smoking environment.
- Work will primarily take place in clients' homes across various locations.
- Willingness to relocate may be required.
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Dust and clean furniture and fixtures.
- Vacuum carpets, area rugs, and upholstered items.
- Change bed linens and make beds.
- Restock clean towels and toiletries.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchens and bathrooms, including disinfecting surfaces.
- Respond to guest requests for additional supplies.
- Manage waste disposal and keep areas tidy.
- Launder clothing and household linens as needed.
- Conduct light housekeeping duties.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Ensure changing rooms and showers are clean.
- Address any customer complaints or concerns professionally.
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Certificate is required.
- A criminal record check will be conducted.
- Must have own transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel regularly is essential.
- Travel expenses will not be covered by the employer.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
- Strong client focus and excellent interpersonal skills.
