Employment Law Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Employment and Labour Law Lawyer to join our team at Mallory Pryce. As a key member of our professional services group, you will play a significant part in our national expansion, focusing on both contentious and non-contentious work, primarily on the respondent side.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a significant volume of respondent work, often at a complex level, representing clients in employment disputes, together with employment contracts, policies and other documentation and procedures.
- Offer practical and strategic support in navigating complex employment law matters.
- Ability to identify main issues in dispute and carry out effective legal merits assessment.
- Proven experience in providing advice in both contentious and non-contentious matters for both individual situations and internal projects for clients.
- Experience managing a caseload of employment law including advising on settlement agreements, constructive, unfair and wrongful dismissal, redundancy, disciplinary and grievance procedures, managing sickness absence, discrimination, whistle blowing, ACAS early conciliation and Employment Tribunal proceedings.
- Ability to write contracts, policies and procedures for tailored company use.
- Salary up to £55,000.
