Employment Law Specialist

Mallory Pryce is seeking an experienced Employment and Labour Law Lawyer to join their team. As a key member of the professional services group, you will play a significant part in their national expansion, focusing on both contentious and non-contentious work, primarily on the respondent side.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a significant volume of respondent work, often at a complex level, representing clients in employment disputes, together with employment contracts, policies, and other documentation and procedures.
- Offer practical and strategic support in navigating complex employment law matters.
- Ability to identify main issues in dispute and carry out effective legal merits assessment.
- Proven experience in providing advice in both contentious and non-contentious matters for both individual situations and internal projects for clients.
- Experience managing a caseload of employment law, including advising on settlement agreements, constructive, unfair, and wrongful dismissal, redundancy, disciplinary, and grievance procedures, managing sickness absence, discrimination, whistle blowing, ACAS early conciliation, and Employment Tribunal proceedings.
- Ability to write contracts, policies, and procedures for tailored company use.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex employment law issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Salary up to £55,000.
- Remote work option.
