Overview:
Gpac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team in the Personal Injury department. As a Senior Litigation Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on complex Personal Injury cases and provide exceptional legal services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage litigation teams to achieve successful outcomes in Personal Injury cases.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
- Screen and evaluate potential clients to determine the merits of their cases.
- Investigate claims and gather evidence to build strong cases.
- Document injuries and expenses to support client claims.
- Calculate damages and prepare cases for trial.
- Interview witnesses and review medical documents to build strong cases.
- Draft pleadings and motions to advance client interests.
- Represent clients in court and negotiate settlements.
- Counsel clients throughout the entire claims process.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LL.M from an accredited law school.
- Member of the bar in good standing with significant experience in litigation.
- Strong business acumen with excellent verbal, negotiation, interpersonal, and drafting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team of professionals.
- Discretion and good judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to provide clear direction to others.
- Ability to run an organized caseload from beginning to end with minimal supervision.
- Previous trial experience is a must.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with a team-oriented approach.
