Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacist for our facility located in Salmon Arm, BC.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing daily pharmacy functions, including medication dispensing, optimizing clinical opportunities, and administering immunizations.
  2. Managing pharmacy inventory effectively.
  3. Ensuring adherence to Provincial and Federal laws, regulations, and policies.
  4. Staying updated on the latest developments in the pharmacy sector by keeping abreast of new medications and clinical practices.
  5. Providing private consultations to patients while fostering a patient-centered care environment.
  6. Delivering clinical services such as medication management and health assessments.

Qualifications:

  1. A valid Canadian Pharmacist license in good standing with the relevant College of Pharmacists.
  2. Certification in injection administration.
  3. Familiarity with pharmacy software solutions, preferably Kroll.
  4. Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completion of mandatory training as needed.
  5. Capability to evaluate, plan, and apply clinical expertise when necessary.
  6. Additional training or certifications are considered an asset.

Compensation:
$60.00 per hour
The compensation for this role will be determined based on location, education, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
