Agile Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Specialist to join our team at Johnson Electric Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize and upgrade production equipment to improve manufacturing cells and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
- Work with Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Services to implement new or modified production machines.
- Ensure operational quality and efficiency targets are maintained.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure all levels of safety are implemented into each automation change.
- Maintain Quality Operating Systems with respect to equipment documentation and record retention.
- Improve machine maintainability and reliability.
- Work in compliance with Johnson Electric FPS Quality, Safety & Environmental Operating Systems.
- Assist in materials acquisition and implementation and inventory control for all machine wears and spares.
- Develop PLC and motion-based machine logic programs.
- Complete run at rate process performance testing in conjunction with manufacturing operations.
- A technical diploma in engineering technology or appropriate combination of education & relevant experience.
- Hands-on technical skills with respect to Mechanical Assembly, Machine Repair, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic Systems, PLC and CNC based control and logic systems.
- 5+ yrs. experience in the hands-on repair and maintenance of CNC machining and automated assembly applications in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on ISO/IATF 16949 operating systems.
- Excellent communications, negotiating, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to redesign/engineer the machine components necessary to improve equipment performance.
- Proficiency in related software.
- Must be capable of specifying and sourcing materials and equipment to best suit requirements.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls and robotics and the programming of same.
