Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Markets Operations Specialist to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Domestic Market Events team, you will play a critical role in the evolution and execution of financial markets business strategy and wealth management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze distributions generated by securities, taking into account deadlines and various variables, and exceptions.
  • Follow up on activities, such as reconciliation and resolution of differences, collection of amounts due, and ensure compliance with established policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Produce various reports and statistics and ensure data integrity.
  • Interact with various sectors of the Bank and more experienced professionals to offer technical support for processing carried out.
  • Provide useful information for decision-making and make recommendations to improve systems and work processes.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of new work systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Three-year college or university degree or academic equivalent, and four years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of securities and various financial products.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Initiative, organization, speed, and precision.
Language

Fluency in French and English is required, as you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
