Spa Operations Manager Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Spa Operations Manager to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for leading and training spa concierges in their areas of responsibility, promoting spa services, retail sales, and other hotel amenities.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead and train spa concierges in their areas of responsibility, including the promotion of spa services, retail sales, and other hotel amenities
* Possess thorough knowledge of the booking system to maximize room and therapist bookings
* Ensure cash handling and opening & closing desk procedures are followed
* Assist with inventory purchases and adjustments using Milano software, month-end retail inventory counts, and orders
* Maintain a tidy order and cleanliness of the entire Spa and Fitness facility, including the pool, gym, change rooms, bathrooms, workspace, and outdoor patio
* Provide guest tours of the facility
* Assist with spa marketing and promotion
* Manage spa reception, including spa product & service knowledge, bookings & reservations, sales reconciliation & cash-out, and inventory control
* Supervise the fitness concierge, including monitoring pool, gym, and fitness area use, pool & hot tub & deck maintenance, managing squash court usage & skate rentals, and maintaining cardio equipment knowledge
* Maintain and monitor fitness memberships, keeping members informed of upcoming events and promotions
* Monitor night cleaning and follow up with Housekeeping Management
* Ensure Health & Safety Awareness
* Assist therapists as required

**Requirements**

* Grade 12 or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years customer service/retail experience
* Supervisory experience an asset
* Fluency in a second language an asset
* CPR and 1st Aid training an asset
* Cash handling skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and independently
* Ability to multitask
* Ability to delegate
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment
