About the Role

Fullscript is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading our forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes. Your expertise will play a critical role in supporting the strategic direction of the business through business analyses and financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Annual Budgeting Process: Partner with leaders across the business to evaluate investment and resourcing needs to support the growth of the company.
  • Manage Budget Adjustments and Reallocations: Maintain control over budgetary changes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and Manage Rolling Forecasts: Update financial projections based on current data and provide timely insights to stakeholders.
  • Analyze and Report Historical Financial Performance: Track and report on financial performance relative to targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate Financial Insights and Recommendations: Present financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Participate in Monthly Operations Meetings: Contribute to discussions on business strategy and performance, and provide financial expertise to inform decision-making.
  • Lead or Assist in Ad Hoc Analyses: Conduct analyses across various business areas, including sales and marketing, fulfillment operations, and supply chain.
  • Prepare and Analyze Business Cases: Support new investment, strategic, and other business decisions with thorough financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Construct Models for Long-Term Forecasts: Develop models to forecast long-term financial performance and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Support the Accounting Team: Assist with expense analysis and control, and provide financial expertise to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead Development and Production of Financial Reports: Create and distribute monthly, quarterly, and Board reporting packages to stakeholders.
  • Establish Rigorous Processes and Controls: Maintain the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Oversee Financial Planning Systems and Tools: Ensure the maintenance and improvement of financial planning systems and tools, and provide guidance on their use.
  • Lead and Mentor the Team: Provide guidance and support to team members in their professional development, and lead by example in terms of financial expertise and leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Field: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or relevant and proven experience.
  • Professional Qualifications: CMA, CPA, or CFA certification a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 Years of Experience: Proven experience in an FP&A leadership capacity, with a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and US GAAP.
  • Strong Excel Modeling Skills: Experience with financial planning tools and superior Excel modeling skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data challenges.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and communicate key findings from complex analysis, and maintain a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
