Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Teacher to join our team at Educemplois. As an Accounting Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching accounting tasks to students in Nunavik.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach accounting skills to students, including calculating and preparing bills, invoices, receipts, payments, and managing petty cash.
  • Develop and implement a training plan to help students complete accounting tasks efficiently.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure they meet the program objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum materials.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in two (2) of the three (3) official languages of KI (Inuktitut, English and French).
  • Experience in adult education and teaching multi-level classes.
  • Knowledge of the MEQ programs and experience in teaching English as a second language.

Assets:

  • Experience in teaching accounting and finance courses.
  • Knowledge of the Moodle platform and experience in using educational technology.
