About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at 2429253 Alberta Ltd. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing payroll, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare statements of earnings for employees, and maintain payroll records.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax laws and employment standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required, including T4 statements and other financial reports.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting software.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, reliable, and bondable.
