About the Role: Design Program Manager - Architectural

As a Design Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects aimed at improving our portfolio assets and enhancing occupant comfort. You will collaborate with project teams to deliver design solutions that meet the needs of our residents and contribute to the overall success of TCHC.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with project teams to develop and implement innovative design solutions for construction projects.
  • Manage architectural initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance and supervision on architectural projects, overseeing all phases from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with established quality standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans to address program requirements, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project execution.

Requirements:

  • Registered Professional Architect in Ontario is preferred; a relevant diploma or degree will also be considered.
  • A PMP designation is an asset, demonstrating your expertise in project management methodologies.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in architecture or engineering, showcasing your practical knowledge and skills.
  • In-depth understanding of building codes and relevant legislation, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Proficiency in construction design and documentation software, enabling you to create accurate and detailed plans.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for site visits and meetings.
