Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are delivered to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
