Job Title: Carpenter Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Apprentice to join our team at MacJac Construction. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will assist experienced carpenters in the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Providing instruction and supervision to other workers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Pre-apprenticeship training and level one apprenticeship training.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and outdoors environments.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
