About the Role

KASTNER AUCTIONS is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our organization's strategic initiatives and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing objectives, and formulating policies to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Resource Allocation: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions to ensure effective resource utilization.
  • Leadership and Management: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, and select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff to lead our teams.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Communication and Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, and delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in operations management or a related field.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate for the right opportunity.
  • Transportation/Travel: Willing to travel as needed.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, organization, and teamwork abilities.
  • Workplace Information: Hybrid work arrangement, 32 hours per week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary work language.
