Job Summary:

As a key member of the Accor Hotels team, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining high standards of service and quality, and driving business growth through efficient management of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that all departmental service standards and sequences of service are upheld.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Work collaboratively with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Financial Management: Control departmental operating expenses and labor costs, identifying opportunities to improve departmental revenues and profitability.
  • Purchasing and Inventory: Maintain control of purchasing systems, ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Development: Observe, teach, and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Ensure that all grounds are maintained to the highest standards of service and design, reflecting positively on the company's brand image.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop team members to meet and exceed service standards, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • Capital Expenditure: Manage Capital Expenditure projects directed to concerned areas, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Initiatives and Improvements: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction, developing and implementing new initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an upscale or luxury brand.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation, able to inspire and motivate others to achieve exceptional results.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Ability to work independently and partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and have a high-level attention to detail.
