Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team at CA09 Labatt Brewing Company Limited. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift and layer pick forklift to pick orders, receive inbound product, and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift and layer pick forklift in a safe and effective manner, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Receive and store inbound product, including stacking in rows up to 3 high.
  • Participate in physical activities and manual labor, including prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, twisting, pulling, and bending.
  • Lift objects up to 50 pounds and work in an enclosed environment.
  • Work on slippery floors and climb ladders or stairs as required.
  • Operate motorized equipment and participate in the hearing conservation program.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, glasses, bump cap, and hearing protection.

Requirements:

  • Be of legal drinking age.
  • Engage in physical activities and manual labor as requested.
  • Lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in an enclosed environment.
  • Climb a ladder/stairs.
  • Work on slippery floors.
  • Lift objects higher than the shoulders.
  • Operate a motorized equipment.
  • Exposure to noise.
  • Exposure to vibration.
  • Participate in the hearing conservation program.
  • Able to work shift work (day, afternoons, and midnights).
