Are you passionate about hands-on work and physical tasks? We are seeking a dedicated sewer technician to become part of our team. In this position, you will engage in various responsibilities, including residential sewer lateral excavations, sewer system repairs and installations, as well as waterproofing and weeping tile services for homeowners.
Employment Type: Full Time
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage
*Enhanced pay rates available for candidates with advanced excavator skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct sewer repairs, pipe bursting, and install weeping tiles, pipe liners, and waterlines.
- Utilize diverse excavation techniques (Backhoe, bobcat, hand digging) to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Operate machinery and vehicles, including trailers.
- Maintain effective communication with management and dispatch, providing updates on job status, daily tasks, and any required equipment or materials.
- Adhere to safe working practices, including the use of personal protective equipment, shoring of excavations, and ensuring vehicle and machinery safety.
- Perform site clean-up tasks, including cementing and removal of debris and materials.
