Cyber Security Program Manager

CB Canada is seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Program Manager to oversee and drive critical initiatives within the telecommunications sector.

Role Overview

  • Direct and manage the Security Operations Center (SOC) transformation initiative, focusing on automation prioritization and the development of a security controls roadmap from a strategic, delivery, and financial standpoint.
  • Assist in the financial planning and annual budgeting of the security program, including forecasting, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while ensuring comprehensive reporting and successful delivery.
  • Promote and facilitate an agile delivery methodology within the team, leading planning sessions, managing Kanban boards, and conducting retrospectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the overall security posture by generating relevant metrics and spearheading various associated projects.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of security standards and practices.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of innovative technological solutions, assessing their impact on the overall security posture.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in strategic planning.
  • At least 3 years' experience in project or program management within Security, Network, or IT technology solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to learn and adapt to new methodologies, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying solutions to complex challenges.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and business insight.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills across multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in the cybersecurity field, particularly in leading cybersecurity projects and programs.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset.
