About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at HI-Beam Contractors Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, and repair cracks and holes to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Paint Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan the work schedule to ensure timely completion.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, and wearing personal protective equipment as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and surface finishing.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors, with excellent client focus, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and teamwork skills.
