We are in search of a seasoned Manager to spearhead the design and execution of a premier global network. As the Manager of Business Applications, you will guide a team of skilled administrators and developers in the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of PagerDuty's expanding suite of enterprise applications, ensuring optimal availability, reliability, and security for our users and vital business information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with diverse stakeholders to conceptualize, develop, interpret, and analyze requirements, aligning business process efficiencies with system functionalities while ensuring data accuracy within CRM systems.
  2. Oversee and enhance the Lead to Order process integrated with Salesforce, Zuora, CPQ, SpringCM, Marketo, DocuSign, and other related enterprise applications.
  3. Lead a team of Salesforce administrators and developers, ensuring effective implementation, customization, and ongoing support of Salesforce applications.
  4. Implement process enhancements and automation to streamline operational and support workflows.
  5. Drive strategic initiatives that align with business goals to maximize Salesforce capabilities and integration across the organization.
  6. Provide mentorship and guidance to Salesforce administrators and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  7. Stay abreast of Salesforce best practices, emerging features, and industry trends to promote innovation and efficiency.
  8. Manage the daily operations of Salesforce applications, including user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security, and scalability.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration and development, including at least 1 year in a managerial or leadership capacity.
  3. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in motivating and managing a team of administrators and developers.
  4. Exceptional communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer) are highly regarded.
  2. 1-2 years of experience with Salesforce CPQ is advantageous.
  3. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA) is beneficial.
  4. Self-motivated, dependable team player with a proven track record of delivering projects on schedule.
  5. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously with urgency.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is 131,000 CAD. This role may also include eligibility for bonuses, commissions, equity, and/or benefits.

Work Environment:

PagerDuty promotes a flexible, hybrid work environment, with expectations for in-office presence at least twice a week.
