Job Description

AECOM is seeking an exceptional Safety, Health, and Environment (SH&E) Program Manager to support the Program Management team on the Peel Region Consulting Engineering Services for the Queen Street Housing Enabling Infrastructure Program for Water & Wastewater Servicing project.

The successful candidate will lead the development of a behaviour-based safety program during Program Startup by collaborating with the Region's safety personnel to develop Program Safety requirements and protocols.

  • Host chartering sessions and workshops with the Region of Peel to facilitate the development of a safety program that will form a part of the Program Management Plan
  • Coordinate with the Region to incorporate the Safety First expectations and requirements into bidder qualifications, tendering, specifications, and contracting
  • Deliver diverse training programs, from awareness to performance enhancement
  • Investigate incidents and collaborate on corrective actions
  • Analyze SH&E data to identify trends and provide insightful reports
Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Occupational Health, Safety, and/or Environment or a related field, with 8+ years of direct SH&E program management experience.
