About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Ponoka IDA Drugstore. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and general journals.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
