We are seeking a skilled Plant Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Ya YA Foods Corp (RP0001). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including lubrication, cleaning, and repair.
  • Install and repair machinery and equipment, including hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and construct foundations for machinery.
  • Supervise other workers and coach and instruct apprentices.
  • Estimate costs and materials for maintenance and repair projects.
Work Environment:

Our plant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. As a Plant Equipment Mechanic, you will work at heights, in noisy conditions, and with odours. You will also work in confined spaces and with dusty conditions.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and supervise other workers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy loads.
