Localization Game Quality Assurance Tester
Are you passionate about video gaming and seeking a role that allows you to utilize your native language skills? PTW-Montréal is on the lookout for Localization QA Game Testers to be the initial evaluators of the localized versions of various games.
*This position is on an as-needed contract basis with full-time availability expected from Monday to Friday.*
*This role requires in-office presence in Montréal, Québec.*
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and detecting inaccuracies in Simplified Chinese language
- Verifying compliance with console manufacturers' standards
- Documenting errors and bugs to aid in game refinement
- Offering constructive feedback for game improvement
- Ensuring optimal game functionality by identifying missing or incorrect content
- Occasionally performing brief translations
Qualifications We Seek
- Native-level command of Simplified Chinese
- Strong understanding of Chinese cultural nuances
- Proficient in English for interpreting client documentation
- Basic French skills for necessary communication
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail
